The Indiana Pacers are tentatively scheduled to begin the second round of the NBA playoffs on Sunday afternoon.

May 9, 2012 - On Wednesday night, the Miami Heat will try to eliminate the New York Knicks from playoff contention when the two teams meet in Miami for Game 5. The Heat currently lead the series three games-to-one.

The Indiana Pacers are awaiting for the winner of the series so that they know who they will have to play in the second round. With that in mind, the league and it's television affiliates are also anxiously awaiting the conclusion of the Heat-Knicks so they can start figuring out scheduling.

In a preemptive course of action, the NBA and ABC have already announced that as long as the series doesn't go seven games, then Game 1 of the second round will begin on Sunday afternoon with a 3:30 pm start time.

Mike Wells (as is every one else, most likely) is expecting the Heat to come out the victor between the two teams. Until one of the teams wins four games, the Pacers continue to wait for their opponent.
