Jim Harbaugh has the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game after one year on the job.
Captain Comeback strikes again! Â Jim Harbaugh, who quarterbacked the 1995 Indianapolis Colts to within a Steel sliver of the Super Bowl, has the San Francisco 49ers on the verge of a Super Bowl berth after just one year on the job, thanks to a 36-32 divisional round victory over the New Orleans Saints. Â Â Ya know, if only the Colts had tanked a year earlier, maybe Harbaugh would have Indy poised for a hometown Super Bowl appearance.
Of course, I guess thatâs unrealistic given that Jim Caldwell is sticking around even after guiding this yearâs monumental mess of a Colts team. Â Ah, Â well, we can all dream right? Â Congrats anyway, coach Harbaugh.
