MIAMI – The Indiana Pacers don't look at the loss of Miami All-Star forward ... - Indianapolis Star

MIAMI â€" The Indiana Pacers don’t look at the loss of Miami All-Star forward Chris Bosh as an advantage for them.

The Pacers know they still have their hands full because of a couple of players by the name of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade.

The Heat announced earlier today that Bosh is out indefinitely with an abdominal strain. He suffered the injury late in the first half of Game 1 when he was fouled by Pacers center Roy Hibbert on a dunk.

“Our play isn’t going to change dramatically," Pacers coach Frank Vogel said before the start of practice today. "With Bosh in the lineup we understand LeBron and Wade are major threats. With him out of the lineups we understand they're major threats. There's not a lot of differences in how you're going to approach the game. Obviously it helps (us) not having Bosh's scoring ability out there but they have other guys."

James and Bosh combined to scored 42 of their team’s 53 points in the second of their Game 1 victory over the Pacers on Sunday.

Game 2 is Tuesday.
