The indiana Hoosiers (15-1) didn't have an easy time with the Penn State Nittany Lions on Sunday afternoon, but ultimately were able to slip past the pesky Penn State (9-8) for an 88-82 win. The win snaps Indiana's 16-game Big Ten road losing streak.
Each time the Hoosiers looked like they were going to run away and coast to an easy victory, the Nittany Lions responded to keep it tight. Penn State pulled as close as four in the final minute of the game, but Indiana hit all eight of its free throw attempts to seal it.
Junior guard Jordan Hulls hit seven of Indiana's season-high 16 three-point field goals. He finished with a game-high of 28 points.
Penn State was led by junior guard Tim Frazier who finished with 21 points (on 23 shots, though) and seven assists.
