Jan 13, 2012 - This weekend is a major one for Indiana's college basketball teams as both Indiana and Butler face must-win games to get back into their respective conference races. Butler has two critical home games against Horizon League leaders Cleveland State and Youngstown State, while Indiana travels to Ohio State for a second game with the Buckeyes.
The Hoosiers' home stumble against Minnesota on Thursday put Indiana behind Michigan, Illinois, and Michigan State in the Big Ten race. They are now tied with Purdue and Ohio State two games behind unbeaten Michigan State, so the winner of Sunday's game in Columbus will have a critical edge back in the conference. An Indiana win would also give them the tiebreaker over Ohio State in terms of seeding for the Big Ten Tournament.
