The Indiana Pacers are in survivor mode as their schedule ramps up for the remainder of January. They have no time to look back on last night's loss in Philadelphia because the Atlanta Hawks will be at the Fieldhouse on Wednesday night for a battle between Eastern Conference playoff contenders.

The Hawks are coming off a win on the road last night after jumping on the New Jersey Nets early and then hanging on for a 106-101 win. Not only did all of the Hawks' starters finish in double figures but they had three players score at least 20 points. Can you imagine such a nice offensive boost?

The Pacers will certainly need a speedy recovery from Danny Granger and George Hill in order to utilize their depth against the Hawks. But as the shortened season wears on, the Pacers, like every other team, are going to have to gut out wins through nagging injuries and rest issues. That will be the difference between fighting to just make the playoffs and fighting for home-court advantage in the first round.

Check out the links from the game last night after the jump.
