Undefeated Ohio State protects their home turf as they beat Purdue 35-10..

Ohio State: Heading into their game against the Purdue Boilermakers, the Ohio State Buckeyes were dealt with some bad news as they heard Junior Halfback Carlos Hyde would miss two weeks due to a hip injury. Hyde whom is the leading rusher in the nation heading into week 8 has rushed for 998 yards on 152 carries and 10 touchdowns. He would be replaced by Senior Jordan Hall whom has been doing just as well on the season.

Braxton Miller would start the scoring off as he would march his team down the field before calling his own number on a 9 yard plunge. The second quarter is when the Buckeyes opened it up on the Boilermakers. It would be in the hands of Miller who would connect with tight end Jake Stoneburner on a 22 yard pass and catch to put them up 14-0. Boilermakers Quarterback Caleb Terbush would connect with Antavian Edison for their only trip into the end zone. Miller would then connect with Chris Fields on a 47 yard post. The before mentioned Jordan Hall would scamper in for his first of two scores on the day.

Hall would finish the game with 141 yards on 21 carries to go with his two scores. Miller would throw for 159 yards, two scores and an interception.

As the offense was clicking it was the play of the defense that would get the most credit here. Crowell and Howard would lead the defense with five tackles each. As a team the defense would get two sacks on the day.
