That’s a look at how the Indiana Pacers roster looks right now. I can’t envision any chance, so let’s take a look at what the first line and second lines would look like.

The starters are set. You would play George Hill PG, Paul George SG, Danny Granger SF, David West PF, and Roy Hibbert C. Those guys were the starters for the last month of the season in 2011-2012, and will get plenty of time together to perform this season.

For me and I am sure most fans, the biggest name of the starters to step up is Paul George. I hope he won’t get lost in the flow of the offense as it’s time for him to make that jump to the next level.

You know Roy Hibbert could become a more integral part of the offense as he’s got a big contract, and the Pacers could take advantage of his ability against the smaller teams.

George Hill should be good for this starting line up as he provided more stability than Darren Collison when he got inserted. Now he’ll get the full off season to work with this group and that should help smooth out kinks last season had.

Things get a little tricky with the bench as you can go with a few different lineups. I would put DJ Augustin in at backup PG. Gerald Green in at SG. Tyler Hansbrough at PF. Ian Mahinmi at C for Hibbert.

But that leaves out the SF position, which could actually be Gerald Green and let Lance Stephenson step up into the SG position. Stephenson got called upon a lot more in the early part of the season last year, but then that time tailed off. Now would be a great time for him to prove himself as someone who can perform for the Pacers.

You also have Miles Plumlee, the rookie drafted for the Pacers that can step in for some late minutes in the post. There’s Jeff Pendergraph, who was injured for some of last season and never got to fully get a rotation spot. Those would be the two names that can jump up for some minutes if big men are playing with fouls.

The bench is where things can’t tail off though, and there are unproven guys out there that makes it important to keep things going when that second unit comes in.

If anything, the starters, like Paul George could spend a little time with that second unit, which is an option. George could see minutes at SF with the bench, and get his opportunity to score as the best option on there.

It should be interesting to see what kind of lineups Frank Vogel will put together, and I’m ready for the season to start.
