I thought this would be another good match up to talk about. Â Kevin Durant vs LebronJames is going to get the headlines and people are going to keep their eyes on that. Â But I do think Westbrook and Wade can hold their own in the series and can lead each of their teams to a win.
Westbrook and Wade are two dynamic scorers who can take over games when need be. Â I do think both guys will defer to James and Durant at times as well. Â Wade actually seems more comfortable with that part. Â But I look at Westbrook and can see him as wanting to be a focal point of a team. Â But he does understand what he can do for the Thunder and does it well.
Surprising stat I heard on the radio for Westbrook and to put away those people who say âhe shoots too muchâ is that the Thunder are 25-5 when Westbrook shots more than Durant. Â That might not seem like a good stat to throw out there, but itâs something to put out there.
Wade has definitely been a better player since game three of the series with the Indiana Pacers, but still looks to be a bit off with his shot. I think if he wants to help Lebron he needs to be more aggressive in the lane and not settle for jump shots. I would believe the same for Westbrook. Â Both those guys are great finishers and can be that type of slash and drive players.
This is a match up to win and even if theyâre not guarding each other, both guys will play a part in tonightâs game.
Who would you rather put on your team? Wade or Westbrook?
