Miami Heat 121  Oklahoma City Thunder  106
(Heat Win Series 4-1)
Wow what a turn of events for this NBA Finals. Â Here the Thunder were able to get the best of the Heat in game one, but then never recovered after the game two loss. Â The Heat go on to win four games straight against this young Thunder team, who I donât think weâve seen the last of in the NBA Finals.
Lebron James gets to be called champion after all these years of hearing how he couldnât win the big one. Â He wasnât the best player last year during these same NBA Finals, and couldnât get the Heat the win they needed last year. Â But this time around, he did it.
He was the best player during the regular season and looked even better during the playoffs. Â How many guys put together a triple double in a game clinching NBA Finals game? Â Only 4 guys before Lebron James last night. Â His 26 points, Â 11 rebounds, and 13 assists should be enough to quiet critics for a bit. Â I thought it would take that type of game for Lebron to get his championship.
Interesting to think this will be Dwayne Wadeâs second one, who definitely came around after that series with Indiana. Â He ends up with 20 points and 8 rebounds in this game.
Chris Bosh the third piece to this âBig Threeâ helped along the way in this game with his own 24 points. Â And how about Mike Miller with 7 three-pointers. Â All of Miami worked hard for this win. Â Now Miami has won two championships in the past ten years, not too bad for a team that never seemed to be around the playoffs and especially not around the Finals.
