Granger will give it a go for Game 6 - Indianapolis Star

Indiana Pacers small forward Danny Granger’s sprained left ankle isn’t 100 percent, but he he’ll be in the starting lineup for tonight’s Game 6 against the Miami Heat.

“I have to play with it being an elimination game,” Granger said this morning. “Our backs are against the wall. I have to play.”

Granger sprained his ankle when he came down on LeBron James’ foot after shooting a 3-pointer late in the first half of Game 5. He returned at the start of the third quarter, but played less than four minutes after he re-aggrivated his ankle.

“He’s still, obviously, very sore,” Pacers coach Frank Vogel said. “We’ll see how he’s moving out there. He thinks he’s going to be okay and not limited.”

The Heat, who lead the series 3-2, can eliminate the Pacers with a victory tonight at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
