Indiana Pacers small forward Danny Grangerâs sprained left ankle isnât 100 percent, but he heâll be in the starting lineup for tonightâs Game 6 against the Miami Heat.
âI have to play with it being an elimination game,â Granger said this morning. âOur backs are against the wall. I have to play.â
Granger sprained his ankle when he came down on LeBron Jamesâ foot after shooting a 3-pointer late in the first half of Game 5. He returned at the start of the third quarter, but played less than four minutes after he re-aggrivated his ankle.
âHeâs still, obviously, very sore,â Pacers coach Frank Vogel said. âWeâll see how heâs moving out there. He thinks heâs going to be okay and not limited.â
The Heat, who lead the series 3-2, can eliminate the Pacers with a victory tonight at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
