Slap the Sign - A Notre Dame Fighting Irish Site - News, Blogs, Opinion and more. - Slap the Sign

Notre Dame’s defensive end, Ethan Johnson, went undrafted in the NFL Draft this year. But he still found a way to land a contract with an NFL team, striking a deal with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Due to family problems, Johnson wasn’t at Notre Dame’s Pro Day, so that was a huge set back with many NFL teams. However, the defensive end kept in touch with Kansas City and told them about his situation. Apparently, they believe he can still compete with the players they have. I like Johnson and I think he has a good shot at making special teams for the Chiefs.
