When we last discussed Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert, we noted how he had four blocks in nine minutes in the Pacers' first-round game against the Orlando Magic. Things have continued to go swimmingly for Hibbert since. Through three quarters, he has eight points, 12 rebounds and nine blocked shots.
Nine blocked shots through three quarters is pretty good. How good? If he just gets one blocked shot in the fourth quarter, he'll tie the single-game playoff record.
As noted earlier, Hibbert had six blocks total in the Pacers' games against the Magic during the regular season. Of course, all four of those games were with Dwight Howard in the lineup. As it turns out, it's not so hard to stone Glen Davis at the rim. Who knew?
