The 2012 Senior Bowl will include Notre Dame Fighting Irish safety Harrison Smith. It seems one of the Irish's other top seniors, wide receiver Michael Floyd, is still deciding.

Jan 19, 2012 - The 2012 Senior Bowl will be televised on the NFL Network next Saturday, Jan. 28, but the game is still working on locking up players to compete in the annual all-star event. The latest invite, according to the game's Twitter account, is former Notre Dame Fighting Irish safety Harrison Smith.

Smith, a fifth-year senior, played 13 games for the Fighting Irish this season after redshirting during the 2007 season. The 6-foot-2 safety picked up 90 total tackles on the season while breaking up 10 passes and being credited for one quarterback hurry along with one fumble forced.

Smith might not be the only Notre Dame player in attendance next weekend, however, as Michael Floyd has also apparently received an invite according to the Roster Watch website.

"I know he has been invited, but that is where it is right now, to my knowledge. (Notre Dame Safety) Harrison Smith is definitely going to be there, but last I checked, Michael was still figuring some things out."

When asked if Michael Floyd was weighing his options (regarding suitability of playing in the All-Star game given his current billing as one of 2012′s top WR prospects), Hardin said "who knows" it could be some of that, and he hadn't spoken with Floyd directly about the issue as of late.

It'll be interesting to see what Floyd decides to do -- and when, considering he's likely running out of time.
