Jan 11, 2012 - The Indiana Pacers took one on the chin Monday night with a 96-86 loss at Philadelphia, but tonight they return to the friendly confines of Bankers Life Fieldhouse to face the Atlanta Hawks. Atlanta will present a difficult challenge, as the Hawks are already 7-3 through 10 games and they are one of the few teams actively challenging the Miami Heat in the Southeast Division.
Forward Danny Granger missed Monday's game with food poisoning, but he is now listed as day-to-day according to Indy Cornrows with an ankle sprain:
We also heard from Danny Granger who was relegated to the stationary bike before shooting around at the end of practice. Now that the food poisoning is behind him, he's still dealing with swelling in his ankle from Saturday's sprain. George Hill was a little more active in practice but both remain questions marks to play the Atlanta Hawks tomorrow.
Wednesday's game comes in advances of Friday's second trip to Toronto in the first 11 games of the season.
