Jan 11, 2012 - It appears that the search for a new Indianapolis Colts general manager is over. Ryan Grigson, the current director of player personnel for the Philadelphia Eagles, is expected to take the general manager's position with the Colts later today according to the NFL's Adam Schefter:

Grigson is a man with local ties, as he originally grew up in Northwest Indiana. He is a native of Highland, Indiana, and he attended Purdue University from 1991-94. He was a member of Purdue's football team at that time, playing tight end and offensive tackle under Jim Colletto. As a senior in 1994 he served as one of the team's captains. He was a sixth round selection of the Bengals in the 1995 draft and played one season for the Detroit Lions and Toronto Argonauts before retiring due to a back injury.
