Andrew Bynum to Philadelphia Changes the 76ers - Always Miller Time

Looking over this soon to be finalized NBA trade involving Dwight Howard and all those other pieces makes me think the Sixers are getting the best out of this trade. If they end up with Andrew Bynum that will boost them up a ton in the Eastern Conference.  Sure you have to wonder about his motivation, but I think Doug Collins is the type of coach who could get Bynum’s head straight, and get the most production out of him.

This gives the Sixes a legit threat at the center position, and should bump them up into the top half of the Eastern Conference.  A team like the Pacers or Celtics should be the ones who are worried a bit about that move.  At least the Pacers would have Roy Hibbert who can match up with Bynum.  The Celtics could possibly match up Kevin Garnettt with Bynum, but who knows how long that would work out?

This could shake up the Eastern Conference in terms of where teams are.  I’d put Miami, Indiana, Boston, and Philadelphia as my top four teams.  I don’t believe that much in Brooklyn, even though people are saying they can be great this season.  Is Joe Johnson going to make that much of  a difference?  He’s actually regressed after getting a huge contract, and I don’t see him getting much better this season.  Deron Williams is still a legit point guard, but what about the rest of that team?  Where are the other guys who can make a difference?
