INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WLFI) - Former Purdue standouts JaJuan Johnson and E'Twaun Moore played their first NBA game in their home state Saturday night, as the Boston Celtics rookies combined for 11 points in the Celtics 97-83 loss to the Indiana Pacers at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
With their college coach in attendance, Moore and Johnson each entered the games to nice ovations. Moore finished with a season-high seven points, three assists, and two rebounds in a season-high 20 minutes. Johnson scored four points, both baskets coming on assists from Moore.
Purdue Head Coach Matt Painter and his wife, Jerri, were among those in attendance to watch the former Boilermaker stars.
The victorius were led by Danny Granger, who scored 21 points.
