Indiana Pacers guard to play in annual IUPUI alumni game - Examiner.com

Pacers guard George Hill is expected to play in the annual IUPUI Alumni Game at 7 p.m., Sept. 28 in The Jungle.

Hill, who played three years at IUPUI, is entering into his second season with the Pacers this October. He played his first three seasons with the San Antonio Spurs after being selected No. 26 overall in the 2008 NBA Draft.

Last season, Hill averaged 9.3 points per game and appeared in 19 of the Pacers 21 games.

Other notable Jaguar alumni scheduled to play are the nine players from IUPUI’s 2003 NCAA Tournament Team including Odell Bradley, Josh Murray, Josh Mullins, Marcus May, D.A. Harvey, Ryan Osborn, Antoine Lewis, Chris Sanders and Matt Crenshaw (now the associate head coach under Howard).

All participating alumni will be split into two teams and will face off in front of fans to help kick off the 2012-13 IUPUI Men’s Basketball Season.
