Miami Heat  100  Oklahoma City Thunder  96 Â
(Series Tied 1-1)
Well the Oklahoma City Thunder had to rally late and at least make this score look good, but ultimately the Heat were in control of this game, and had it on lock down for a majority of the time. Â The Heat were up 27-15 after the first quarter and even built a lead of 17 points. Â With plenty of help from Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, Lebron James delivered a great performance to pull the Heat even in this series.
James ends up with 32 points, Wade adds 24 points, and Bosh had 16 points to give the Big Three 72 out of the 100 points for the Heat. Â Thatâs the type of play the Heat need if they want to win this series.
Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook had strong performances as well with 32 points and 27 points respectively. Â But that finish had them rushing at the end to try to at least tie the game. Â Getting down that much in the beginning and wanting so long to make a run will wear down a person.
Now the series shifts to Miami for the next three games, where the Heat will be glad to get away from the noisy Thunder crowd. Â They would like to silence the critics of their team as well, but until they actually win this Finals match up, that noise will be there. If Iâm the Thunder, thatâs just how I like it. Â The Thunder are here to win as well, but they should be back in the coming years as well if things play out right. Â But the time is now, to take the next game, and get those things going that worked so well in game one.
