The Indiana Pacers held their first predraft workouts at Bankers Life ... - Indianapolis Star

The Indiana Pacers held their first predraft workouts at Bankers Life Fieldhouse today.

Draymond Green (Michigan State), Scott Machado (Iona), Andrew Nicholson (St. Bonaventure), Mike Scott (Virginia), Tyshawn Taylor (Kansas) and Royce White (Iowa State) worked out in front of president Larry Bird, coach Frank Vogel and the rest of the basketball operations staff.

“You do the same thing you were doing when you came in here playing with Michigan State,” Green said. “At the end of the day, everybody knows what you can do, you just have to come in and compete and come in shape. At the end of the day you may shoot awful, but they know you can shoot and your shooting is going to get better.”

The Pacers, who finished with the fifth best record in the NBA this season, have the No. 26 pick in the June 28 draft.

The Pacers won’t hold anymore workouts at the fieldhouse until June 14 because members of the basketball operations staff are headed to Chicago for the predraft combine later this week and then to Italy for the Adidas Eurocamp this weekend.
